Global laminate manufacturer Wilsonart and Australian market leading distribution business HVG have reaffirmed and extended their Australian partnership which commenced in 2012.

HVG will continue to be the exclusive Australian distributor for both Wilsonart Laminate and Wilsonart branded Decorative LPM Panels. The new distribution agreement is for an unspecified, but long term period.

Wilsonart have recently acquired the Karaboard business in Melbourne and will, over time become the supplier of Wilsonart branded LPM to HVG.

HVG CEO Bruce Rayment said, “We are pleased to extend the mutually beneficial partnership we have enjoyed with Wilsonart since early 2012. Over this time, we have grown HPL sales and market share and established the Wilsonart brand in the decorative LPM market. We have come a long way, but there is still a long way to go. Wilsonart’s strategic plans in Australia fit well with us and we look forward to working together for a long time to come.”

Chris Ludlam, Wilsonart Australia’s National Manager added “With a recently acquired manufacturing base in Melbourne and the extension of our relationship with HVG, our future looks bright in Australia. After 30+ years in the Australian market, Wilsonart felt the time was right to invest in Australian manufacturing. And in HVG, we have a proud Australian distribution company to partner us on our future journey”.
